She made this move by entering for the Big Brother Africa reality TV Show scheduled to hold sometime soon. This year’s show tagged “superstar”, will have Tonto Dike reppin Naija to vie for a whooping some of yet to be disclosed dolls! How far can she go? Banky W has finally cleared the air on his separation with wizkid stating that there was no twitter fight. “we are only trying to work on wizkid’s project internationally, and getting to that stage, things changed”. Phew…Naija! A State of constant confusion

A few days ago, Mrs Bosede Aribigbe, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-Public Relations issued a statement asking prospective NYSC members to ensure they have their Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registration Numbers before they can be mobilized for the next batch of Youth Service which will commence in April 2013. Now, the Federal Government of Nigeria wants to scrap JAMB Examination, NECO and NAPEP. Where will these prospective youth corpers get JAMB registration numbers four years from now if the Federal Government succeeds in the scrap of JAMB examination and the rest? Isn’t this a lack of contingency plan? Our Educational system is in shambles and schools are sending out graduates each year into a world where there are only 20% of jobs available to those who even have connections. Where do we go from here? When will we get it right? I don’t think Nigerians need this sort of confusion at this point in time when there are many other pressing issues on their tables and expectations from the Government and its bodies. Naija Government needs help oooo,Walahi! *placing my finger in my tongue and raising it up to the heavens* you know what that means!

UCC, NSA BUZZ

It’s on! The search for 2013 Miss NSA, UCC has begun. The venue is set, tickets on sale, contestants engage in 4hours rehearsals everyday by their various instructors, everyone’s up and about what to wear and how to wear it and of course, the RED carpet set! Where and When? It’s happening live at the Capecoast Townhall, Kingsway, from 6:30pm on the 6th of April 2013. Tickets cost 15Ghc for V.I.P and 10Ghc for Regular. There will be special performances in songs and dance, a talent show and traditional display of naija culture and vibes. Finally Fooled!

Chaii, and so i got fooled by these 2 "church rats" i call aki and pawpaw. Guess how? out of boredom very well known to them, they told me to get dressed and we will be off to the beach to relax. "Mumu Me" rushed to have my bath, took time out to find something suitable for the beach and was set to be off. lo! one of them who is just my next door flat mate, asked me to come and zip up her top and right in my face, *aarrgggggghhh*, i was april fooled! Never happened to me in a long time though. nice one, you two tried but trust me, i'll get you guys in no time! *tongue out*

Tekinologee: Newest 3D Ultra scan

Just when I thought science should take a little break after the creation of the Bionic man, Technology has decided to continue from that break. The innovation this time around, is a new software developed to enable expectant couples see a hi-tech 3D photos of their unborn child. “o ga o’ like we say in naija, ( an expression used when one is dazed or amazed). This software was recently developed in Monaco and it shows images by adding lighting, colour, shadows and skin texture to the ultrasound scans. Hmmmmnnn……….., great innovation but in my opinion, these developments cause more damage to humanity than good. Very soon they will create a remote control to wear our clothing!

Two Naija Women awarded the UNESCO L'Oreal Science Awards

Yes we have done it and Naija has been made proud by the women folks again in the field of science. Two Naija women have bagged the UNESCO L’Oreal “Women in Science Partnership” award. They were awarded for their contributions to the advancement of scientific knowledge. The awardees, Prof. Francisca Okeke, the first female head of department at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka was awarded for her outstanding contributions to the scientific study of climate change. She became the third Nigerian to get the award since the establishment of UNESCO L’Oreal in 1998 and the only recipient in Africa and the Arab nations. The second recipient is Dr. Eucharia Nwaichi, an environmental bio-chemist from UNIPORT! Congratulations but please try and encourage other women to go for their goals and dreams.

Almost woke up fooled! I woke up this morning almost being fooled by the broadcast sent all over BBM about President Obama’s Resignation due to some health concerns. Luckily for me, as my early morning routine, I pick up my phone to check the time and see if I can still sleep for some 30minutes if not more before I get out of bed, but my phone tells me the date and month am in and that was how I got saved from being fooled! If you were fooled, sorry! Some people have to be while some will never be! Welcome to a new day and Happy New Month! …..On kim and kanye. What’s with the naming of their unborn child as “khrist”? Is there a god somewhere as the father? Well, some birds in the air said that kanye West has a new single coming out soon and it’s titled “I am a God”. Logically, this could be the reason for choosing the name “Khrist” Hmmmnnnn……………., Lobatan! (Another expression used when dazed).
